The Assessor is in the process of completing a full reappraisal of the commercial class. Every Parcel in the commercial class will be visited by the end of July. The completed reappraisal will be turned into Marquette County Equalization for review on August 1, 2025. Residential reappraisals in the western portion of the Township will also be taking place throughout the summer and into the fall. An introduction letter and reappraisal questionnaire will always be sent prior to the assessors visit. All new construction and permits from 2025 will be visited before the end of the year. Previous year new construction and permits that were partially completed in 2024 (or prior) will also be re-visited before years end, to confirm completion of the project or to check its progress.
